Hi my name is Mick, born and bred on the Gold Coast, I have had the pleasure of teaching countless people of all ages to drive safely and achieve their goal of passing their driving test. As well as being a driving instructor, my background as a surf coach and youth worker has given me the tools required to help others deal with their nerves and anxiety and to have you feeling relaxed, comfortable and competent in no time. I understand that we all have our own unique learning style and pace therefore I will adjust lesson plans to suit you personally. The end goal is to see you walk away with your license in your hand and a smile on your face with as little stress as possible.
I can't recommend Mick highly enough, he taught my son to drive. He actually let me sit in on one of the lessons and I couldn't believe how calm he was when I was jumping in the back seat lol. His professionalism and knowledge were impressive and it gave me great peace of mind to know that my son was in Micks capable hands.

Mick show me how to drive on left side of road. Im from Brazil where we drive on right side. So it was hard. Mick made it easy and fun. He knew so much about driving. He made it so I can understand now.

I'm so glad I eventually found Mick!!! After trying a different instructors I had a lesson with Mick and really liked the way he explained everything in a simple way that I could understand. He seemed to know when i was getting nervous and instantly said something to make me feel better. If youre a bit nervous about driving you should get Mick to teach you.
