I have over 30 years experience as a driving instructor. I have a real passion for teaching people to drive safely and find it very satisfying and rewarding. My aim is to teach you safe driving habits that will last a lifetime. Over my career I have held a number of instructional roles. For a long period I trained and assessed driving instructors both for my own business and other driving schools in accordance with RMS and TAFE standards. Before starting my own business I was a franchisee with the largest driving school in Australia. My aim is to have you become a relaxed, confident and safe driver which means your lessons will be carried out in a calm environment. I will not put you into any heavy traffic situations until I have assessed you are ready and begin to feel comfortable with the controls of the car such as the steering, the accelerator and the brakes. Together we will build your confidence and experience and get you safely prepared for the driving test and a lifetime on the road. Over a period of twenty years I was a city and long distance rep and my driving lessons include many tips and subtleties of driving gained from that time and since. I will ensure that you fully understand the importance of total concentration when 'on the road', because driving is a full-time job. I am the proud father of 4 children, all of whom I taught to swim at a very early age. I have held a long term interest in history. I am also a keen photographer and enjoy sport.
Incredible driving instructor! I 100% would have failed my test if I hadn’t taken the lessons with Peter. And I believe that’s the main reason why people fail. Because they feel like they’re too good to have lessons. He allowed me to see what I needed to improve on in the way they assess you and after a number of lessons I was confident and ready for the test. He is super detailed and straightforward. I passed my test with a perfect score! He even called me on the day after my test to see how I had gone. 100% would recommend him to anyone!
