Hi, my name is Darren, I have been a driving instructor since 2010, instructing in both automatic and manual vehicles. I really enjoy what I do, meeting new, different nationalities, exchanging recipes, oh and of course learning to drive! I love the satisfaction of being part of a journey with my students, starting from the ever so nervous beginner to blossoming into a safe and respectful driver, with a new found confidence in their ability to achieve things that they had previously thought impossible. I cater for learners with autism, anxieties and deafness. All of my students are afforded the same courtesy, attention to detail and care. I find the whole process of teaching someone to drive very rewarding, especially when I show learners how easy it really is. I do my best to customise our driving lessons to focus on the skills and techniques that you find most challenging and overcome these difficulties with clear, simple instructions. I love it when students have struggled and then pass on the first go! I am part of a mini club, currently restoring my own mini. I enjoy baseball and have even coached Tee-ball. I am married with 3 wonderful children.
Darren is very experienced, patient and encouraging. Great at explaining and clear when communicating. It is so important to have an instructor who you feel confident and comfortable with, so that you can absorb any knowledge they have to offer. I’m very happy to find Darren after failing to connect with other instructors. Highly recommend him.

The driving experience with this instructor was relaxed & comfortable, he was patient essay to converse with & was easy to understand he’s instruction, and explanations tips on as how to best move forward to achieving what was required to passing driving test ,I would have problems recommending ezlicence .

Explained everything in depth and gave reason, physically showed me where blind spots were, told me about test and what goes on during it. Well understood and really helped me out even on the first lesson :)
