Hi, my name is Michael, I became a qualified driving instructor in 2018. I have had over 40 years of driving experience here in Australia, in the UK and also Europe. I have also been involved in the L2P program, assessing whether a student is suitable for the program. The best part of this business is diversity, I assist brand new learners, to those wanting a refresh or helping migrants to convert their licence into Australian one. Each student brings different challenges, no two days are the same! My extensive driving experience has helped me to educate my learner students, by providing them different skills and ways of approaching difficult problems. Not only am I able to pass on the basics, but also explain how our driving needs to be adjusted in different road and weather conditions. I try to keep it as simple as I can. I am super patient, taking the time required for my student to learn all the information needed for being a safe driver. I do spend time focusing on defensive driving techniques and have had experience teaching learners with mild autism. Being a driving instructor gives me satisfaction, when I see my student is understanding and developing their skill. The best moment is when they use all their learning to pass their driving test. It is a fantastic moment as it gives them a skill they can use everyday to further their career and lifestyle.
