I became a Driving Instructor after a thirty five plus (35+) year career in the transport industry, firstly as a driver then a senior manager. During this time I raised 4 children and now have 2 grandchildren. I became a driving instructor 4 years ago after instructing my children and a number of other family members all of which said it was a fun experience and I had a real skill at teaching them to drive. I also, found great enjoyment in passing on my years of driving experience as well as being able to influence those that I teach become better drivers. As a result, I have an average learner pass rate of over 90%. Personalised Driver Training was founded on the premise “not all learners learn at the same pace” so all my lesson plans are tailored for the individual, this allows the learner to progress along the learning journey without pressure ultimately delivering a competent safe driver.
Mick gives detailed but simple instructions, and as I am preparing for my Ps test soon he has been making sure I know all the key test spots and the little catches along the way. Thanks Mick!

Cannot recommend Mick highly enough. I had zero experience and zero confidence. Driving lessons are my only chance at getting a licence, fortunately I found Mick. He is calm, supportive, very dedicated and really makes the lessons informative , but also simplifies it . I'm honestly a very anxious person, im 27 with no licence that's how scared I am of driving and thanks to Mick that is changing.
