Instructor bio

Since arriving in Australia in 1998, I have worked in a number of roles, including process worker and waiter. In my home country of Bangladesh, I have done extensive studies including a Bachelor of Science and a Diploma of Library and Information. I was also a High School Teacher. I became a driving instructor in 2004, which combines many of my skills into the one role. Customer service, teaching others and step by step processes. My goal is to help students gain confidence quickly and effectively, by making learners feel more relaxed and confident during their lessons. I will teach you the correct and safe way to drive in all kinds of weather conditions, not just to pass your driving test but become a safe and confident driver long after getting your licence. I hold a number of roles within my local community, I am the General Secretary of Jalalabad Association of NSW (Bangladeshi social organisation) as well as being a Justice of the Peace, servicing the St George area. I am married with 4 children.

I had a very positive learning experience with Alex. He took me to a quiet street in Alexandria where I could learn to curb side stop and drive. Then I got to drive on the main roads and practice steering which was a blast! Keen to do another lesson soon!
