As an Automotive Engineer, I have always loved cars, motor bikes, any vehicle really. I have always been fascinated about how the vehicles perform. Along with this, I have done a lot of driving. With an excess of 20 years in a professional capacity including riding motor bikes and bus driving, and additional driving experience travelling most of south east and western Australia and overseas. I taught both my daughter and son to be confident and responsible drivers, which was a rewarding experience. As a result, I decided to become a driving instructor. I enjoy teaching students to learn to drive, I get enormous satisfaction seeing my students progress with their driving skills and successfully achieve their goal of obtaining their licence. My aim is to make each student as comfortable as possible from the outset as I understand that beginners are often very nervous. I believe that education is the key to improving road safety and saving lives on Australian roads. I am passionate about teaching students not only how to drive but of road safety and the responsibility that all drivers have when they are using our roads. I am a qualified mentor with volunteer experience. I am currently assisting disadvantaged members of the community with driving lessons.
