Instructor bio
Prior to becoming a driving instructor in mid 2018, I worked at the Department of Roads and Maritime Services [RMS] for 10 years. At the RMS, I held a number of roles, most importantly, I was a driving test officer. This gives me incredible insight into the key criteria required to pass your driving test as well as the common mistakes made by learners.
During our lessons, I will give you the tips and tricks to passing your driving test. I will focus on understanding your surrounds, particularly those which may come up during your driving test. We will cover off on safe driving techniques, adjusting driving to different conditions and the busy Sydney roads.
I enjoy teaching different people and adjusting my training based on the way they best learn. It is rewarding when a learner gains confidence and skills and begins to enjoy driving. It is also very satisfying, teaching learners a major life skill and to give them all the tools to ensure they are a safe driver for years to come.
On a personal note, I take great pride in what I do, being nominated for many service awards whilst working at the RMS. I also have a background in Financial Services and run another business in addition to my driving school. I am married with two school aged sons.
