Hi! My name is Shailesh, I am a fully qualified and accredited driving instructor. I’ve been driving for over 14 years in Australia. I got my learner’s permit in NSW at the age of 17. I have driven throughout most of the Australian states, in different road and weather conditions. Prior to being an instructor, I worked as an Electrical Engineer for 4.5 years, I have also worked as a truck and rideshare driver which has given me a vast understanding of the Melbourne Road network and road rules. Due to my passion to help others, I also work in a healthcare role. I have had the opportunity to teach individuals from all walks of life and all age groups. I have experience with new learners, those wanting to convert an international driver licence, and those taking refresher lessons. My main goal is to pass on my wealth of knowledge to my students so that they can be confident and build safe driving habits for the rest of their lives. I also understand every individual has a different level of driving skill and experience. I believe that students learn best in a calm, professional and positive environment. Therefore, I go the extra mile to provide a friendly and welcoming environment. Being a driving instructor has given me great satisfaction because I see my student’s progress and developing their skills. The best moment is when they pass their driving test. He taught me how to drive inside the CBD including the hook turns and round about and told me other things to watch out for, so I was able to learn many thing from his which made me confident to drive here.
