Hi, my name is John. I have been a driving instructor since 2009 and I really enjoy what I do. Prior to this role, I held a number of managerial positions within retail stores. Working for some of the larger companies enabled me to gain extensive experience and training in how to best manage people. I also developed a strong customer service focus. These skills come in handy everyday when I am teaching learners. My ability to relate to others, communicate clearly and effectively, adjust my techniques based on the learner as well as set goals and targets helps to get the best results. I am a highly skilled driver and I instruct in both automatic and manual vehicles. I am friendly, patient and calm. My goal is to build your confidence, develop your coordination and teach you all the techniques to become a safe driver. I am passionate about what I do.

As a (37yo) mature learner driver who was new to Australia I found John to be calm, clear and he really helped build my confidence quickly. I did not think I would be able to pass as quickly as I did and I'm grateful I chose John to help. I would thoroughly recommend him. John is also very familiar with the test routes and helped me understand where I might get caught out. When I took the test I understood how well he had prepared me. He's also just a nice person to spend time in a car with. Thanks John!

Succesful outcome thanks to John! He is patient, calm, gives clear instructions and very useful feedback. I was quite nervous throughout the process of tranferring from overseas to Australian driving standards and he made sure to insitll confidence in me, he pointed out my had habits and we worked on correcting them. John is the best driving instructor!! As a Latin American, I have drove on the other side of the road but I needed a few lessons before my driving test to refresh road skills and manoeuvres. I went into my test feeling calm and confident. He gave me tips and taught me techniques for my test. I passed my auto driving test. Thank you so much John!! I would definitely recommend him to anyone who wants to learn but specially be confident on the road.

Absolutely brilliant! As someone who needed a refresher and proper teaching of how to do manoeuvres and other aspects, Jon was perfect. He simplifies everything to allow you to focus on what really matters and makes learning to drive easier. I went into the test feeling confident and calm about my abilities and what he's taught me. Definitely would recommend for people who need a refresher of their road skills or just starting out đź‘Ť.

This was my first driving lesson in Australia. I was very nervous before starting the lesson, but after getting into the car and talking to John got my confidence back. John is a very patient, positive and really experienced as an instructor. I was surprised to see how he was patient at explaining again and again the same rules to me. Really recommend him if your looking to find one of the best instructors in Brisbane.
