Hi, my name is Darren. I've been conducting driving lessons south of the river for the last five years and really enjoy my job. Prior to this, I gained formal accreditation as a trainer/assessor in 2012, whilst working in the safety department on mine sites. I was heavily involved in workplace training. I found the transition to driving instruction an easy one. I get great satisfaction in knowing that I have contributed to someone getting their licence, whether it’s a first time behind the wheel learner, preparing for a PDA, or refining driving skills. I enjoy the diverse personalities of people and understand that sometimes I need to change the way I instruct to meet the needs of an individual. I pride myself in giving a clear, informative driving lesson in a calm and patient manner. I have good knowledge of the test routes used by the assessors and what is expected by them, I am here to help and looking forward to helping you achieve a pass in your PDA.
Darren is an absolutely amazing driving instructor. I only went for two lessons with him and passed my PDA on the first go. I couldn't have done the test so confidently without his guidance. He is a very understanding, patient and a highly professional teacher. I would definitely recommend Darren to everyone without any hesitation.

I would highly recommend Darren as a driving instructor. My daughter had several lessons over a two week period and was able to pass the PDA first time. He was able to teach her road rules, build her confidence and give expert advice relating to what to expect in the Kelmscott/Armadale area. I highly recommend practicing with Darren in the area of your test location due to his extensive knowledge. He is a professional and knowledgeable driving instructor who I would definitely recommend. 😇👍
