Hi, my name is Sherif. I have been a driving instructor since early 2005 and I am also a trainer and assessor for those training to be a driving instructor. I have driven in a wide range of road and weather conditions and have a great deal of knowledge and experience to share. Sharing my knowledge is one of the most rewarding aspects of my work as I train learners to become competent, confident safe drivers. My professional training is as an engineer, so my approach in teaching my students is very practical. I will often use illustrations and sketches during my lessons to help students understand and remember what I have taught them. I have found this to be very effective in facilitating the students’ learning especially for beginners. I can easily relate to people of all different age groups and backgrounds, to make them feel comfortable as quickly as possible. I am calm, patient and friendly and I believe that these characteristics are important when supporting others to learn new things. I am married with children and really enjoy swimming, soccer and fishing in my spare time.
