How do I buy a driving lesson package & secure my discount?

You will be prompted during the initial booking process to selectyour driving lesson package, this is done on our payment page. You can choose to purchase any amount of driving lessons, your discount will be automatically calculated and displayed to you before you makepayment.

Driving lessons purchasedthat have not been scheduled can be managed from your online account that is created during the initial booking process.

You only need to choose a driving instructor and schedule the first driving lesson to get started. You are welcome to schedule more lessons initially if you wish.

Your online account provides you with maximum flexibility, you are able to schedule and re-schedule driving lessons up to 24 hrs prior to the driving lesson start time. You are also able to book lessons with multiple driving instructors.

What if There Are No Available Driving Instructors in My Area?

Accepted Answer

If your search comes up with no results, it is because there are no driving instructors who are currently willing or able to service the area of your chosen pick-up location. Simply enter an alternate location that is convenient for you and search again.

Can I have a different pickup & drop off address for my driving lesson?

Our driving instructors aimto accomodate any reasonable request. If both the driving lesson pickup & drop off locations are within the driving instructors service area,you can be confident the request canbe fulfilled.

You can confirm your chosen drivinginstructor services your pickup and drop off location in two ways:


	Search both suburbs in the 'find an instructor'search tool (see below) and confirm your driving instructor services both suburbs.
	Check the driving instructors coverage map. This is displayed at the bottom of their profile page.


We will collect your driving lesson pickup location during the booking process. We recommend making a lesson note when prompteddetailingyour driving lesson drop off address. You will also have access to yourdriving instructors contact details in your online dashboard. You can also SMS or email the driving instructor if you wish to discuss any special requests.

Where will my driving instructor take me to learn to drive?

Accepted Answer

Your driving instructorwill always seek to provide a learning environment that you are comfortable with. If you are nervous about driving or have never driven before your driving instructor is going to find somewhere quiet to assess your skills and confidence levels.

Progression from quieter areas to more complex traffic is only going to occur at the pace you are comfortable with. The driving instructor at all times will consider your safety as well as their safety.

If you live in a highly built up area and are concerned there are no quieter areas nearby, feel free to schedule a 2 hr driving lesson as this will provide more time to travel to a quieter area. You can discuss your preferences with your instructor after making your initial booking.

Where will my driving lessons be held?

Your driving lessons will start & finishat a location convenient to you. The most common pickup location for driving lessons is yourhome address. Other common driving lesson pickup locations include:

	Work
	Train station
	Driving test centres


Your driving instructor will aim to make you as comfortable as possible during your driving lessons. If you are new to drivingor are lacking confidence, you will begin in quieter areas, away from complex traffic situations.

During the booking process you will be asked for your full pickup address, you can select anywherein the pickup suburb.

Do I pay extra to use the driving instructors vehicle in my driving lessons?

No. The driving lesson price includes the use of the driving instructors vehicle. Your driving instructor will meet you at your chosen pickup location with their own dual-controlled vehicle.

When should I book driving lessons?

Accepted Answer

You can book driving lessons as soon as soon as you’ve obtained your learner’s licence. You do not require any prior driving experience to undertake driving lessons.

The sooner you start learning with a professional driving instructor, the better your experience as a learner driver will be. Driving lessons can help you become a better driver at any stageand many learner drivers take driving lessons to help them prepare for the driving test.

Our driving instructors welcome the opportunity to assist anyone (all licence holder types)who feeltheir skills or confidence require a boost. Driving lessons are for anyone, not just holders of a learners licence.

If you are an international driver’s licence holder you should confirm with your local state/territory authority that you are currently allowed to drive on Australian roads before booking driving lessons. How do I buy or book more driving lessons with EzLicence?

If you have already booked a driving lesson through the EzLicence online platform you willhave created anonline account. You can login into your account at anytime and buy and/or schedule further driving lessons with any driving instructor available in your area.

You can login with your email address and the password you set during the initial booking process. If you have forgotten your password you can reset it, an email link will be sent to you. Please check your spam folder if you don't receive the password reset email.

How long are your driving lessons?

Driving lessons can be booked for a duration of one or two hours. If you are a new learner driver or lacking confidence behind the wheel, you may wish to consider starting with one hour lessons.

We have found that two hour driving lessons are very popular with both learner drivers and driving instructors.

Discounts are available for learner drivers who purchase multiple driving lessons in a package. You are able to book your lessons in any combination of one hour and two hour driving lessons.

Your driving lesson duration is measured from the time you are picked up until the time you are dropped off. Pickup & drop off from your chosen location is included in the price.

Can I Take Refresher Driving Lessons?

Of course! Many existing driver’s licence holders book driving lessons to refresh their skills or build up some more confidence, especially if they have spent some time not driving. We recommend about 3 to 5 hours of driving instruction in cases like this.
