I passed first time! Shaun is a wonderful instructor, he calms you down, instills confidence and explains everything in a kind and calm manner. Both my husband and I had Shaun as our driving instructor to help us convert our overseas licenses (UAE) to Australian drivers licenses. Where will my driving instructor take me to learn to drive?
Your driving instructor will always seek to provide a learning environment that you are comfortable with. If you are nervous about driving or have never driven before your driving instructor is going to find somewhere quiet to assess your skills and confidence levels.
Progression from quieter areas to more complex traffic is only going to occur at the pace you are comfortable with. The driving instructor at all times will consider your safety as well as their safety.
If you live in a highly built up area and are concerned there are no quieter areas nearby, feel free to schedule a 2 hr driving lesson as this will provide more time to travel to a quieter area. You can discuss your preferences with your instructor after making your initial booking.
When should I book driving lessons?
You can book driving lessons as soon as soon as you’ve obtained your learner’s licence. You do not require any prior driving experience to undertake driving lessons.
The sooner you start learning with a professional driving instructor, the better your experience as a learner driver will be. Driving lessons can help you become a better driver at any stage and many learner drivers take driving lessons to help them prepare for the driving test.
